I read that today and thought it was cute so I decided to share it along with a few "tree" photos I found in our archives.

Rebecca & Mike

We met Becky & Mike in the beginning of this year and quickly became great friends.  We begged them to let us photograph them because they have such an awesome style.  We had these cool urban shots in mind.  They agreed this fall and here are some of the shots...  

Becky had a plan to cut her dreads (which she had been growing for 6 years!) so we wanted to highlight them in a cool way.  We think we achieved it here....

By the way, she has since cut her hair and her new look is cute too!

Becky & Mike: we adore you guys.  Thanks for giving in to the pressure and modeling for us!

Ashlie & Jeff

We have had the opportunity to photograph both Ashlie & Jeff in past weddings.  They are now planning for their own wedding coming up in May.  We are so excited to work with them again!

We are so glad that you two looked us up for your engagement & wedding photos!

Lori

This gorgeous girl also happens to be my younger sister.  Lori was the first person to ever model for me.  As an aspiring eleven-year-old photographer, I grabbed my little sis and mom's camera and we did a photo shoot complete with stuffed animals and bunk beds!  She is also my favorite person in the world to photograph to this day.  Not only is she beautiful and very photogenic, she trusts me completely (even with the poses that feel really awkward!) and we always have lots of fun during our sessions. 

We photographed a Saturday wedding at Castle Farms this summer and decided to make it into a long weekend in Charlevoix.  Lori came along and we did the first part of her senior photos downtown and on the beach.

 

We waited for the leaves to reach their peak color and took some more photos in my parents' backyard.  Mike and I are thrilled with the way they turned out!

Lori: we are so proud of you!  You are such a wonderful, funny and beautiful girl.  We are proud and honored to have you as a sister.  We wish you many, many blessings as you finish up your last year of high school and go on to college next year!  Love you!

Kaiden

This handsome little guy also happens to be our godson.  Isn't he just adorable?

Not only is he our godson, he's also our little model.  Good thing he's so good-looking!!
