Moving?

For those of you who may not know, we have a studio located in Shields on Miller Road.  We have been there since May 2007 and really like it.  BUT, our landlords are moving and we are not quite sure what is going to become of our cute little studio.  We are in the process of building our home and have plans to move our business into a portion of our house.  In the meantime, we are considering renting a small space to use as a gallery to meet with clients and moving our production area to our apartment.  Since almost all of our sessions are done on location, we don't really need the studio lights and backdrops.  We will be sad to say goodbye to our current "home away from home" but are curious to see what the next phase of our business will be.  We'll keep you posted!  If anyone knows of a cool place for us to check out, we would appreciate any suggestions.

Rachel & Chad

Here are some of our favorite images from Rachel & Chad's wedding.

I love this portrait of the flower girl.  Isn't she a doll!?!
The ceremony was in Rachel's parents' backyard, on their anniversary!  What a beautiful setting for a wedding!

Rachel's Grandma caught the bouquet.  I love this series of photos of her and the gentleman that caught the garter.  Maybe he's not her type?  :-)

Rachel & Chad: you guys are such a great couple!  Thanks so much for asking us to photograph your wedding!

Nick

Nick is going to be a high school senior this year at Heritage.  We did the session at the studio and at his house.  As usual, I liked the outside images best!

Thank you, Nick for choosing ETV for your senior pics!

Carly & Matt

Here are some shots from Carly & Matt's engagement session.

What a blast it was to photograph you two!  Can't wait until the wedding in November!

Jessica & Erik

We had the pleasure of working with Jessica & Erik on their wedding day.  What a great couple and beautiful wedding!

They played a slideshow at their reception of photos of each of them growing up.  Always a fun/tear-jerking moment!
Check out her ring!!  Okay, okay I'm kidding.  They had a Tiffany themed reception (at Valley Plaza Resort) and these giant diamond rings could be found on the guest tables.  Of course, we had to have a little fun with them!

Jess & Erik: thanks so much for hiring us!  Enjoy your photos!

Stacey & Chris

Stacey & Chris had us photograph their wedding...and we're so glad they did! Here are a few shots....

One of our faves from the ceremony, which was at St. Thomas Aquinas in Saginaw.
Awww, I love this incredibly romantic shot!

We ran outside for a few shots of the bridal party and as soon as we were done it started pouring. Later, at the reception (at the Grand) the clouds gave way to a beautiful sunset and we got some more great shots. We couldn't have asked for better timing!

Thanks so much for inviting us along to capture your day!

Sarah

We're full swing into our senior photo season.  I photographed Sarah at Dow Gardens, the Midland Civic Arena and at our studio.  She was an awesome subject and a very sweet girl!  Check out all the images here.

Sarah is really into hockey.  Actually, she is finishing out her senior year in Traverse City because she was accepted to their girls' hockey team.  How awesome is that!?!
I love it when we incorporate the model's interests into the photos.  It makes them so much more personal.

She has one mean slap-shot!  I was intimidated on the OTHER side of the glass!
Thanks, Sarah for having us take your senior photos!

Kimberly & Kenneth

We photographed Kim & Ken at their wedding...what a great couple!  Their wedding ceremony was at Blessed Sacrament Church in Midland, then we made a stop at Dow Gardens for photographs and on to the reception at Forest Edge Banquet in Auburn.  View all the photos from their wedding here.  Here are a few of our faves...

The dress was beautiful...check out the detailing!

Kim was a GORGEOUS bride!

We stepped outside at sunset for a few quick photos.  I love it when couples do this!
Ken & Kim: thanks so much for allowing us to be a part of your day!  We really enjoyed ourselves and we hope that you enjoy your photos!
